Jordi Wawa, better known as Wawa, is a Belgian rapper of Congolese origin. He was born in Rotterdam and moved at a very young age to Aalst, where he grew up and started his music career.

Wawa began rapping around the age of 11. In the beginning, he made music on beats he found online and released his first songs on the internet. During this period, he also used the name WAWABOY and was part of a young collective from Aalst.

His breakthrough came at the age of 17 when he participated in the rap competition FunX Talent Rappers Only, which he eventually won. This victory helped him attract more attention within the Belgian and Dutch hip-hop scenes.

Wawa’s music often talks about his life, his environment, and his experiences in Aalst. His style blends rap, trap, and sometimes singing. Thanks to his energy and authenticity, he quickly became a recognized name in the local hip-hop scene.

Today, Wawa continues to release new music and aims to further develop his career in Belgium and the Netherlands.
